After Manavalamamuni, in the Vedic lineage of Bhagavad Ramanuja, it is only Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji who strived a lot lot in spreading the divine messages to the nook and corner of the country. He conducted a number of Yajnas throughout for the sake of peace and prosperity to the people in the society. He exemplified the actual Vedic practices in a sacred manner and reap their benevolencies in service to the mankind. Swamiji led many social movements to eliminate superstitions and unauthentic practices that were dominantly prevalent in the society in those days.

At the divine call, He took to monkhood only in 1950s to become Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji.


Swamiji was a great social reformer. His daring reforms though not readily accepted, by some people, later realising Swamiji's Magnanimity and the Mission of Peace, every one joined and supported unanimously. He invited people of all castes and creeds to join together and work in service of Lord. His schemes of activities are a source of inspiration and an example to many Acharyas and institutions of modern day. He is the pioneer of innovative and creative ideas to help the glorious Vedic System to be set up in many places all over the country. Many schools, many Mutts, many temples, many service organisations in South as well as in North India adore Sri Swamiji for all his Divine grace that gave them great inspiration and support to their lives.


He is the first one to conduct All India Vedic Conference in the Ramlila Maidan during 1973 in which about 4000 scholars from all over the country and also Nepal have participated. The then Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi voluntarily attended the congregation, just for a slot of 15 minutes but, spent about 2 hours enjoying the Divine activities, highly praising the wonderful efforts of HH Sri Swamiji.

 

Sri Swamiji envisioned the enriched application of Vedic science in integration with the modern Technology by thousands of topmost scholars and experts fully dedicated for the noble cause, so that the glory of Vedic science and tradition is spread and shared all over the world in establishing Peace and Prosperity. His aspiration is that such capsules of rich divine knowledge reach every common man to mitigate ignorance, sufferings and lead purposeful life in serving the higher goals.

The year Aug 2008 to Aug 2009 is declared as Jeeyar Sathabdi Year. You can know more details in his life history from the link above.
